About this item

Explore the prehistoric world with this Ceratosaurus, a realistic dinosaur toy figurine from Schleich! This toy is detailed, handheld, and ideal for hours of imaginative play. The Ceratosaurus was a carnivorous dinosaur that lived 150 million years ago in the Late Jurassic period. Two bumps at the eyes and a large horn on the nose were made of bone and were likely used either in combat or to deter rivals. It had numerous spike-like bones on its back as well. The many bumps and plates gave it its name: Ceratosaurus means “horned lizard.” The Ceratosaurus is part of Dinosaurs – a daring collection filled with prehistoric creatures just waiting to be discovered and brought to life.
