For those who prefer simplicity, these Plain Wooden Checkers, 12 black and 12 red, measure approximately 1-5/8" diameter by 5/16" thick. One side is engraved with a king's crown so instead of stacking them to "king" just flip it over! The pieces come with a cloth pouch for storing. Made in Vermont
