The Color Monster is back… more compact than ever! In this version, the box becomes an integral part of the game. Inside, one side contains the printed game board, and the other, an insert to hold the canisters. Playing in a small space is no longer a problem! The Color Monster is a cooperative board game for children based on the popular character from Anna Llenas's story, and it will entertain the whole family. Designed by Josep Maria Allué and Dani Gómez, games last about 30 minutes and are recommended for ages 4 and up. Besides being a great way to have fun, the game can be a very good educational option where young children will learn to recognize their basic emotions. Just like in the story, the monster is all mixed up with his emotions, and his body is covered in colors. The players will have to work together to help the monster recognize his emotions and understand what's happening to him. Taking turns, they will roll the die, which will allow them to move the monster around the board and collect the tokens of the basic emotions (joy, sadness, fear, calm, and anger), which they will have to place in the different jars. To get these tokens, players must tell a story or share an experience related to the emotion. Once the experience has been shared, the player must choose one of the eight available jars without knowing what it contains. They will either get one of the five emotions or discover one of the three mix-ups. If all three mix-ups appear before the monster has understood his emotions… they'll have to start all over again! Each time a die roll shows its face, Nuna will move to the space where the monster is located and flip over one of the jars containing various emotions.…
