Hand embroidered wallets, made in the highlands of Chiapas near San Cristobal de las Casas, using two different embroidery techniques. One is their take on a French knot and the other is more traditionally Mexican emulating the “grecas” or stone sculptures found on pyramids and as well as other symbols that the Mayans and Zapotecs carved into stones. No two will be the same.
