About this item

The ultimate "learn-to-play" experience that transforms the Disney Lorcana TCG into an accessible, progressive board game. The Disney Lorcana Gateway is specifically engineered to be the most beginner-friendly entry point into the world of Lorcana. Unlike standard starter decks, this box features a progressive "Gate" system that teaches the game in stages. You start with simplified 30-card decks and basic rules. As you complete specific in-game objectives, you unlock four reward packs that add new card types—like Songs , Items , and Floodborn characters —steadily increasing the strategic depth until you have two full 66-card legal decks . The box replaces the standard paper playmats with a durable, high-quality game board that includes a built-in Lore tracker and clearly labeled zones for your Inkwell , deck, and discard pile. Reviewers highlight that this "board game-ified" approach makes it incredibly easy for non-TCG players to grasp complex concepts like exerting ink and challenging characters within minutes. While it focuses on essential common cards rather than rare foils, it provides a solid mechanical foundation for anyone looking to join the Lorcana community.
