About this item

It's a vantage point that few will ever have the privilege of seeing–Earth, viewed from afar. This globe uses images taken from NASA for a direct look at our planet from space. Swirls of white clouds punctuate soothing green and blue colors. As the globe gently rotates, it creates an immersive visual experience. This 4.5 inch MOVA Globe turns peacefully on its own, using only the energy of room light and the forces of Earth's magnetic field to simulate perpetual motion. It turns autonomously, whether on a stand or in the palm of your hand. No batteries or power cords are required. MOVA Globes are the first and only solar-powered item to have the solar panels hidden from view.
