A hilarious tale of unexpected friendship between Pete and a hungry monster who just wants to EAT PETE! When the monster arrives in Pete's bedroom, Pete sees a playmate while the monster sees dinner. As Pete distracts his new friend with cars, pirates, and games, the monster's meal plans keep getting delayed. This playful picture book from the creator of Goodnight Goon perfectly captures the chaotic joy of playdates and the surprising connections that form when fun trumps being someone's lunch.
