The EVH 5150III 50W 6L6 Head packs plenty of punch into a head that’s easy to take to rehearsals and gigs. Clean tones are clear and full, the crunch channel moves from chunky overdrive into tight distortion, and the lead channel brings the saturated gain and sustain you’d expect from a 5150. With three channels and 50 watts of power, there’s plenty of room to cover clean passages, heavy rhythm work and singing leads. This updated version gives the clean and crunch channels independent gain and volume controls through dual-concentric knobs, making it easier to balance levels when switching between them. Those two channels share a three-band EQ, while the lead channel has its own gain, volume and EQ. Global presence and resonance controls let you dial in the top-end bite and low-end response to suit your cabinet. An effects loop, MIDI input and included four-button footswitch make it easy to work into your setup. Du
