Fix It! (Helping Hands)

About this item

Fix It! is an engaging children’s book that introduces young readers to repairing, organizing, and looking after their belongings. Through simple conversational text and lively illustrations, children are encouraged to think about what happens when toys break, what might be needed to repair them, and how taking care of possessions can be part of everyday responsibility. Who’s going to mend these broken toys? Which tools will we need? And when everything is fixed, where should we keep it? These familiar questions introduce children to practical problem-solving while encouraging them to consider how objects can be repaired, cared for, and put away rather than simply replaced. Exploring repairs and simple household tasks can help children develop problem-solving, responsibility, organization, and independence. Discussing which tools might be appropriate and how to keep belongings safely stored also creates opportunities to build vocabulary, reasoning skills, and awareness o
