A true standout in both beauty and heart, GG Kiss Me Kate is the most decorated Vanner horse in history and a remarkable ambassador for her breed. Originally bred by Romani travelers in Ireland and Great Britain to pull caravans, these hardy horses are known for their strength, kindness, and striking presence. Kate embodies all of these qualities and more: she has amassed an extraordinary 56 Supreme Grand Champion titles, excelling in-hand, in harness, and under both English and Western saddles. Outside of the show ring, she loves to offer “kisses” and has even served as a therapy horse! Also a valued broodmare, Kate has produced foals that have gone on to become National Champions in their own right. Kate was bred by Dennis and Cindy Thompson’s Gypsy Gold Farm, the importer of the first Vanner horses to America in 1996. Kate is a treasured mare as her grandsire, The Gypsy King, was one of the Thompsons’ sixteen original imports who also had his own Breyer portrait mod
