About this item

7 years & up Making paper airplanes doesn't feel like science (although this book explains some of the science behind flying paper airplanes), and it's not quite art. Near as we can figure, launching a regular old piece of paper so that it soars is pure magic. With magic in mind, Klutz presents step-by-step instructions for folding aerobatic amazements. The 10 airplanes in this book are the best flyers ever seen, from the Nakamura Lock (which could just be the best-flying paper airplane you've ever folded) to the Spy Plane (designed to fly high and stay aloft for a longer time than most other paper airplanes). This big book comes complete with 40 sheets of flight-tested, ready-to-fold paper, printed on both sides in a variety of 20 colorful patterns, including leopard print, wood grain, hot rod flames and lose-it-on-the-lawn grass. It's everything you need to rule the skies!
