About this item

Artist, feminist, survivor of polio and a near-fatal bus accident, Mexican cultural champion, queer icon - Frida Kahlo's legacy means many things to many people, but we hope to never lose sight of her astonishing achievement as the proud companion of a pet monkey. The paintings, yes, the paintings are her grand accomplishment (and she has been rightly praised), but what a rare treat to have that prehensile tail wrapped around one's wrist! To receive their expression of astonishment at one's newly-minted portrait! Every 12” Little Thinker doll is distinctively dressed and wields a biographical tag with essential dates, acts, and a personal quote. These plush companions are just as inspiring as they are cuddly because Little Thinkers are characters with character.
