About this item

The Interstellar Tone Traveler has always believed that the best road guitars are the ones engineered to remove every obstacle between the player and the music — and Martin's SC-13E Modern in Mezcal Burst was designed with exactly that philosophy at its core. The SC body with its single cutaway and Sure Align® Linear Dovetail neck joint positions the neck at the 13th fret, opening up upper-fret access that most acoustic guitars simply cannot offer. Paired with the Low Profile Velocity neck shape and High-Performance Taper, this Martin plays with an ease and speed closer to a well-set electric than anything you'd expect from an acoustic — a revelation for players who live at the top of the neck.
