The Metal Earth models are amazingly detailed etched models that are fun and satisfying to assemble. Each model starts out as 4 inch square metal sheets and you simply pop out the pieces and follow the included directions to assemble your model. No solder or glue needed. This car ushered in a new class of automobile known as the pony car. Its revolutionary design featuring the long hood and short deck proved wildly popular and according to Ford, 22,000 orders were taken the day it debuted. An optional 260-cubic inch V-8 engine was also available.
