The Moraga Cowl is inspired by Moraga Street, one of the most inspiring streets for artists in San Francisco. The top of the street is home to the famous Moraga Steps, a tall set of stairs intricately decorated with mosaic tiles depicting the city’s natural wild life. The end of the road meets Ocean Beach, where local street artists use the sea wall as a canvas for their tags and original murals. The swirling colors of the Moraga Cowl are reminiscent of the murals found at either end of Moraga Street. Construction notes: knit with one strand of Malabrigo Sock and another of Malabrigo Silkpaca held together, the Moraga Cowl first starts like a traditional triangular shawl with a garter tab CO.
