Paladar Añejo Single Barrel Select by Adrian Quesada is a bold expression of heritage and artistry, crafted in Mexico by one of the last independent founding families of tequila. This single barrel añejo is distilled from Blue Weber agave grown on their own farms, fermented in traditional pine boxes with wild and proprietary yeast, and finished in a steel pot still. The result is a tequila that marries rustic character with refined craftsmanship—bottled at 45% ABV and curated in collaboration with celebrated musician Adrian Quesada, known for his work with the Black Pumas. The nose opens with generous aromas of caramel, vanilla, and dried figs, lifted by oak and a whisper of cinnamon. On the palate, this añejo reveals a rich tapestry of flavors: smooth butterscotch, vanilla, and warm spices like clove and pepper blend seamlessly with darker hints of chocolate, tobacco, and earthy dried fruit. The finish is long and satisfying, offering a lingering impression of toasted oak, subtle spice, and the deep, sweet undertone of cooked agave. This limited release is both a celebration of traditional tequila-making and a tribute to creative collaboration, offering a spirit that resonates well beyond the glass.
