Paul Masson Grande Amber VS Brandy 750ml is an American grape brandy bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof). Paul Masson describes its VS as a smooth brandy crafted in the European tradition from carefully selected grapes and matured in oak barrels. A state control-board description adds praline and maple to those notes and states that the brandy spends at least three years in American oak, which develops its full body and luminous amber color. This is the standard VS expression rather than the separately aged VSOP bottling. Its rounded oak, caramel, vanilla, and confectionary notes make it suitable for pouring over ice or using in classic brandy cocktails where a rich amber base is wanted.
