About this item

There are signature guitars, and then there are signature guitars born from a genuine obsession with tone — and the PRS DGT belongs firmly in the latter category. David Grissom is the kind of player the Interstellar Tone Traveler goes out of their way to study: a guitarist's guitarist whose reputation for taste, feel, and extraordinary tone precedes him across every galaxy in the known universe. The Wood Library designation means this particular instrument was hand-selected by PRS's own luthiers from their most exceptional stock — a Curly Maple 10 Top draped over a Swamp Ash body that changes everything about how this guitar speaks. Where mahogany offers warmth and thickness, Swamp Ash brings something rarer and more addictive: percussive attack, a tight and defined low end that never blooms into muddiness, and a sparkling, airy high end that makes single notes ring like struck crystal.
