The Radial Engineering Catapult RX4 is a rugged, passive 4-channel audio snake receiver designed to carry professional analog or AES digital audio over standard Cat 5 or Cat 6 cable. Paired with a Catapult transmitter, the RX4 provides an efficient alternative to bulky traditional multi-channel snakes for live sound, recording studios, installations, and stage setups. The RX4 receives four balanced audio channels through its locking etherCON-compatible RJ45 connection and provides two sets of four XLR male outputs. This allows each incoming signal to be routed to two destinations, making it ideal for feeding a mixer, recording system, monitor rig, or additional equipment from a single Cat 5 run.
