Safrani (Greek for saffron ) is a cardiganized version of my Indicum Pullover . It features a minimalist embellishment of corrugated ribbing, a simple two-color technique, at the collar and hems. Safrani is knit with two fingering weight yarns at a gauge that makes it lightweight and easy to wear – the contrasting color used in the ribbing requires little yardage and is a great way to use up leftover sock yarn. Safrani is knit flat in one piece from the top down, with a scoop neck shaped with short rows and sleeves ending in very slight puffs.
