About this item

The Standlee Premium Western Forage Premium Alfalfa Grab and Go Compressed Hay Bale is formed by allowing Standlee forage to grow to the proper stage of maturity, cutting the plants, allowing them to sun-cure (dry) to an acceptable moisture level and baling the forage at the optimal time. Standlee Premium Products creates Grab and Go compressed bales of forage from a large 4 ft. x 4 ft. x 8 ft. bale that is put through a press, sliced horizontally, pushed onto a scale, weighed, compressed, banded and then shrink-wrapped. Alfalfa forage is low in sugar, moderately high in protein, high in calories and digestible fiber. Keep your horses well-fed with this compressed alfalfa hay bale. Includes 50 lb. of compressed alfalfa hay bale. Ideal horse feed for horses of all ages. Recommended for: Growing (rapid growth) and underweight horses, horses sensitive to carbohydrates, horses with gastric ulcers, late in pregnancy and lactating mares. Natural forage length mimics grazing. Slow intake horse feed stimulates chewing and minimizes digestive upset. Convenient to handle and store this compressed hay bale. Physical form allows visual inspection of quality and consistency.
