About this item

Tamiya Color X-27 Clear Red Gloss Acrylic Paint is a versatile high-quality acrylic paint designed for hobbyists who want a vivid transparent red finish with a smooth glossy sheen. Supplied in a 23mL bottle, this paint is ideal for adding depth, color effects, and realistic tinted finishes to model kits, miniatures, and custom hobby projects. Its clear formula makes it especially useful for layering over metallic or light-colored surfaces to create striking stained-glass, lens, or candy coat effects. Easy to apply by brush or airbrush when properly thinned, Tamiya X-27 dries to a durable glossy finish that enhances detail without obscuring underlying textures. It is a reliable choice for model builders working on cars, aircraft, figures, and other scale projects where a transparent red tone is needed.
