About this item

The Thames & Kosmos Air-Power Turbo Racer lets kids build a fast-moving race car powered by air instead of batteries or an electric motor. Young engineers assemble the sleek vehicle, use the built-in pump to compress air into the tank, then place the car on the ground and watch it zoom away. The air-powered engine introduces kids to real physics concepts in a hands-on way, showing how pressurized air can move a piston, rotate the rear axle, and create motion. With more than 90 pieces and a full-color manual, this STEM kit is a fun build-and-play project for kids who love cars, engineering, mechanics, and experiments.
