This is a brand new spin on an old classic. Readers will first enjoy Aesop's version of events with the time-honored lesson of "slow and steady wins the race." However, the story doesn't stop there. The jilted Hare then shares his version of the events that transpired that day. He suggests that there may have been some foul play in the organization of the race. Young readers will love this new twist on an old favorite as they follow the colorful illustrations and read two entirely different points of view that will leave them wondering who is really telling the truth.
