About this item

Here's a volume that lets youngsters share in the holiday festivities by creating their own inexpensive collection of "stained glass" artwork. Eight familiar, ready-to-be-colored images — each boldly outlined in black — include a toy soldier, jack-in-the-box, Santa's face, Christmas tree, snowman, stocking, full-length Santa, and a large beribboned bell. Perfect for hanging in windows, on lampshades, and on Christmas trees, these delightful motifs can be colored with a variety of materials (crayons, felt-tip pens, paints) to create translucent designs that produce a lovely stained glass effect when hung near light.
