About this item

In Tokaido, you are a traveler in ancient Japan. You will follow the prestigious Tokaido–a road between Kyoto and Edo (Tokyo)–as you try to have a rich and fulfilling experience. The solo mode will be available both in this version of the game and separately (for those who already own Tokaido). ♦ Includes a revised rulebook for clarity and accessibility (the gameplay is the same). ♦ Includes text on some cards and the character tiles to accompany the icons (so you don’t need to reference the rulebook to decipher combinations of icons). ♦ Includes reference cards for each player that explain the locations.
